Putting Your SSDI Benefit to Good Use
I often hear people who complain
about not being able to work just because they suffer from disabilities. Now
don’t get me wrong. I am not trying to downplay their situation. Far from it.
I’m basically just trying to point out that a disability should not be the
end-all and be-all of a person’s life.
Why? Well, persons with
disabilities are entitled to receive SSDI benefits and I’m assuming that these
benefits can be used perhaps to start a small business in order for them to have
some form of sustenance. Anyway the funds in the SSDI benefit came from the
monthly Social Security taxes deducted from a person’s salary while he was still
working, prior to his disability.
That’s putting the benefits that
are specifically allotted to a person with disability and his family into very
good use. So if, for any unfortunate reason, you won’t be able to work anymore
because of a disability, you can still do something to provide for your family
as long as you can put your benefits to very good use.
