Crash Diets
I know it is not healthy, but I know of crash diets that work. I have been on some before. I just did it because there are times that I needed to lose weight in a short period of time. And such diets work. However, the yoyo effect is there and that is the disadvantage. One of the crash diets that work is the no-carb diet for two weeks. If you religiously follow it, you will really lose 14 pounds in two weeks. Or that would translate to a pound a day. Since I really did not need to lose that much, I sometimes would go on a no-carb diet for five days and lose 5 pounds as well. That was good enough for me then.
